Scrum is based on the philosophy that all knowledge is derived from sense experiences. Like scientists, we experiment to learn. This course is broken down into four Sprints:
  • Sprint 1: Learn the history and mindset of Scrum
  • Sprint 2: Learn the rules of Scrum events (meetings) and artifacts
  • Sprint 3: Provide the foundation for a basic 'playbook' for Scrum Masters
  • Sprint 4: Introduce Lean problem-solving techniques

This course was developed using Scrum and gets updated periodically based on feedback, and that's just part of how I use Scrum to teach Scrum. Go at your own pace and practice what you learn. Start using Scrum a little more each week. Some students begin using full Scrum after the course and others start iteratively using small changes to how they and their teams currently work. In most cases, construction professionals report drastic improvements to their workflow including quality, speed, and increased enjoyment.
